Hyeopjae Beach

After nearly a month in Jeju, {time is truly flying !} Rachel and I had a free weekend away from Branksome for a little R&R. ;) And with a friendly tip from a local, we headed to Hyeopjae Beach.

협재 해수욕장: Hyeopjae in Korean

Hyeopjae, on the west side of Hanrim-eup, is known for its beautiful white sand. After a bit of research, I discovered this is caused by the large amounts of crushed seashells mixed in everywhere.  It is one of the most visited beaches in S. Korea (second to Hamdeok)..and arguably the most beautiful.

I couldn't resist a few touristy shots...

And turns out: neither could the honeymooners & natives..
Leaving our mark.
